I was shocked by the horrific attacks by Hamas against Israel that began last Saturday.
Since then, Maci and I have been praying for the people of Israel, as did our church this weekend. Over the weekend and as I’ve traveled across the state this week, it’s been top of mind in our conversations, calls, and gatherings.
The response I’ve heard in support of Israel at home and on the road has been overwhelming.
Hoosiers and Americans back their friends, and they know right from wrong. We know these ongoing acts of terrorism committed against innocent people are pure evil. We know that Israel has a right to defend itself.
America should do our part to support a people bound to us in so many ways – in faith, in values, and in freedom.
This is something bigger than all of us. When the chips are down, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our friends. We stand with Israel.
Please join us in continuing to pray for their safety, for justice, and for the men and women on the front lines of the fight to protect their homes, families, and nation.
