INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Today, Eric Doden’s campaign filed a ballot access petition with over 6,000 verified signatures from all 92 counties. This petition will place Eric on the ballot as a candidate for the Republican nomination for Governor in the May Primary.

Doden is the first candidate to file a ballot access petition in the Indiana Governor’s race.

“Our movement is leading this race, and I couldn’t be prouder of our grassroots, people-powered campaign,” Eric Doden said. “I’m incredibly grateful for our team and volunteers for their work to make us the first campaign on the ballot and for believing in our bold vision to make Hoosier’s lives better.”

In order to appear on the gubernatorial primary ballot in Indiana, candidates must collect 500 signatures from registered voters in each of the state’s nine congressional districts.

These signatures are then submitted to the county clerks across Indiana within the period of January 10th to February 6th. Following submission, the local clerks are responsible for verifying the validity of the signatures.

Once all signatures are duly certified, the candidate is required to officially file for office with the Indiana Secretary of State by February 9th.
