I am proud to support the state and local law enforcement leaders calling for a complete reform of Indianapolis’ broken criminal justice system, including a review of decisions leading to the public safety crisis by the Mayor, Prosecutor, and county judiciary.

With IMPD shootings at record highs, calls for stripping officers of qualified immunity, and a revolving door of violent criminals being released in Indianapolis, our law enforcement officers need leaders to have their backs while they protect us.

It’s time to stop passing the buck. I’ve put forward my own Capital Zone Plan to address the public safety crisis and get IMPD the support they need. I call on our state and local leaders to step up and do the same.
